To demand that a hearing be placed on the agenda of the CSA to implement the proposal below:

• To require each county in California to provide a ballot on election day; and to provide timely voter registration materials to all County Jail detainees who have not been finally convicted or currently on parole.
  

• To require all County Sheriffs responsible for the administration of jail to implement this proposal.
  

• For the CSA to implement reporting requirements on all counties to report to the CSA on progress and number of detainees who were given materials to register to vote, ballots, and the number of detainees who voted.
